History of Surges Bay Orchard

Established in the mid 1800’s during the boom of the apple industry in Tasmania, our orchard is one of the few surviving in Tasmania to date.

The original late 1800’s house remains nestled at the base of Mt Tongatabu and the old packing shed built in 1910 is still going strong.
